Q. |
How can you put me on those TV stations. Who the hell do you think you are?
A. |
Well, its easy. If you watch any of these stations you will see McDonalds, Wal-Mart, etc. advertising. We do the same thing but we advertise you with a sample of your music for folks to go to your website and buy your music.
Q. |
The ads on your site look funny and grainy. Why?
A. |
Simply to save server space we downgrade the quality to make it easy for T-3 to dial-up to view. True NTSC quality video contains color bars and audio tones that must exist for them to comply for broadcast usage. There is no reason to place that much on a the site. Doing so would raise our cost which would raise your cost.

Q. |
As a member do I really get a tip sheet with record label contacts wanting my material?
A. |
Yup! BUT ONLY AS A MEMBER. This alone would cost you about 300 per year with just about anybody else.. if you could get it at all!

A. |
To put it plainly, we are YOUR way for music industry reps to find you. It was just a matter of time before someone came up with the idea to put it in a digital format. You need a deal, and they need talent. We also will feature your music on MTV, VH1, CMT or GAC if you wish. This is for members or non-members. Click Here to learn more

Q. |
Why should I submit my music and be showcased here?
A. |
Because ProfessionalEars.com is a trusted source and a valuable asset to A&R staff at many MAJOR and INDEPENDENT recording agencies. The question should be WHY SHOULDN’T YOU?
Q. |
How much does it cost?
A. |
For ProfessionalEars to review your material there is a $10 service charge and IF you are accepted to be a part of ProfessionalEars there is an annual fee of $99, that’s around $8 per month.
Q. |
What kind of attention from the A&R can I get by doing this?
A. |
The question should be what kind of attention from A&R are you getting right now? The answer is this, we take this VERY SERIOUSLY and WE WANT YOU SIGNED. We are not just waiting for record companies to visit, we call, email and advertise to get their attention….AND IT WORKS!!!!
Q. |
Can my song be downloaded or stolen?
A. |
That is why you have a copyright TO PROTECT YOUR WORK! Downloaded? … NO, all songs uploaded can be listened to in streaming format only using Flash technology, much like listening to the radio.
Q. |
How does the record company contact me?
A. |
They will contact ProfessionalEars and request your contact information, OR ProfessionalEars will contact you and request a “hard copy” of your material to send to the reps if they wish. Or hey can simply vist your website from the link in your ProEars bio and contact you directly.

This is just ONE Avenue of many an artist NEEDS to take during the course of trying to be discovered. But, yes… you could!!

Why don’t you have a phone number on the website?
A. |

Q. |
How many record companies or established artists will be looking at this website?
A. |
Well, it’s hard to know just how many for sure. We can contact over 1000 different Record Companies/A&R staff in the USA, Canada and Europe. It is a good Idea to have several “Hard Copies” of your New Artist Pack ready to mail at a moments notice if indeed they want to hear more from you.
Q. |
What record companies may look at the talent on this website?
A. |
Just name one and chances are they will be looking. Universal South, MCA, Arista, Curb, Def Jam, Warner Bro’s, Lyric Street and on and on and on… Not to mention several Indies’. REMEMBER THIS IS A WORLDWIDE PUBLICATION.
Q. |
Why does it cost me 10 bucks for you to review my material?
A. |
This is simple, if you are unwilling to pay $10 to have a professional staff review your material, then chances are you have nothing to prove. If you have nothing to prove then chances are you are not “hungry” enough to achieve a recording contract, and not a single record company would want you anyway if you are not serious about your career. This review fee detours those “wanna be’s” from the truly serious musicians/songwriters.
